Coach Jacob Espana


Coach "cobo" comes to W.A.R SC with a solid foundation in the field of fitness. He earned his BA degree in Human Performance & Sport graduating with Cum Laude honors from New Mexico Highlands University where he also excelled as a college athlete wrestling for the NCAA D2 Cowboys in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). Coach Espana has a strong background in gymnastics, functional fitness and Olympic weight lifting where he has competed and coached in all 3. Since college Jacob earned his CrossFit L1 and coached at Duke City CrossFit where he also was a member of their competition team, he also has experience as a competitive Olympic weight lifter qualifying for American Open Nationals at 67kg in 2019. The combination of gymnastics, weight lifting, and CrossFit make Coach "Cobo" a well rounded coach with skills that can translate to all sports and make every type of athlete a better version of themselves.

Coach Dan Gaylor


Coach "G" is an experienced coach with a BA degree in Health Promotion & Wellness as well as a MA degree in Human Performance & Sport. He earned those degrees from New Mexico Highlands University where he also excelled in Wrestling as a collegiate athlete competing in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) at the NCAA Division 2 level. After college athletics and a masters degree Coach Dan has been the strength and conditioning coach at American Leadership Academy- Gilbert North (ALA-GN) since 2018. During this time he has worked with all sports, such as Football, Wrestling, Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Soccer etc. ALA-GN athletics have excelled in the time Coach "G" has been there and their success is a reflection of quality training in the weight room.

Coach Jack Gaylor

Coach Jack, just like Jacob and Dan, earned his Degrees from New Mexico Highlands University where he also wrestled for the Cowboys at the NCAA Division 2 level in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). At NMHU Jack earned his BA degree in Human Performance & Sport with a concentration in Sport management, he then went on to earn his MA in Exercise Science, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. After graduating, Jack was offered and accepted the job of Assistant Wrestling Coach at NMHU where he learned the ropes of coaching under Legendary and Hall of Fame coach Doug Moses. He coached there for 3 successful years, cumulating with an All-American in 2020 (the schools first in 10 years). After NMHU, Jack joined his brother Dan (Coach G) at American Leadership Academy, serving as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. Jack has years of experience programing and personally training clients and plans on taking it to the next level as he is currently studying for his CSCS through the NSCA. His continued education and thirst for knowledge makes Jack valuable to any athlete looking for the competitive edge.
